MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU | 03.27.22

Yerrr! What’s goodie Joy Way Church! We’re back again sharing what went down this past Sunday at 58 Studios. In this sermon from our series titled “John: The Story of The Promised Messiah” Pastor Ayodiran walked us through John 14 and showed us how Jesus gives peace like no other by being the way, the truth, and the life.

1. Jesus is Going to the Father

• But Jesus also says He is going to prepare a place for them.

• He is going to prepare a place for them in His father’s house, where there are many rooms.

• Jesus was to be the new temple, being the new meeting place between God & man.

• If Jesus is the new temple, what house is He preparing? His Body.
  

2. Jesus is Sending the Helper

• The Holy Spirit comes to dwell in believers.

• If the Holy Spirit is within believers then that means God’s dwelling place is WITH His people!

• The Father, Son, and Spirit are One.
  

3. Jesus Lives Within Us

• If the Holy Spirit is with disciples then that means Jesus is with His disciples.

• Jesus made and is the way to dwell in perfect peace with the Father.

• Jesus is not absent because the Holy Spirit is present!

• For those who call Jesus Lord, He is with us even now.
